Female Stereotypes

If it is a prejudice to think of a woman as a housewife, it is equally a prejudice to think of her as an engineer or a soldier. These are two opposing stereotypes, and each person is free to decide which they consider preferable.

Similarly, should a woman wear a bikini, or should she wear a veil? Both are stereotypes, yet the world cannot be understood without them. What matters is that they are not regarded as immutable, but remain open to criticism and choice.
