Dissenter
In every society, if the majority believes in A, supports A, and maintains that the dissenter who supports not-A is wrong. In dictatorships, those who say not-A often end up in prison; in democracies, they are free to say whatever they want, but they may also be ignored and ridiculed, and this too is part of freedom.
Everyone is free to express what they believe, and it is not the case that dissenters should receive special treatment.
