Arab Palestine
Palestine, whose name we learned as children in church, is still predominantly inhabited by Arabs. Some have Israeli citizenship (Galilee), while others live in the occupied territories (Judea). The State of Israel is predominantly situated in the strip between the mountains and the coast, which was a sort of (marshy) periphery of ancient Jewish Palestine.
