Births and Genocide
To support the accusation of genocide, the International Court of Justice stated that the collapse of Gaza's healthcare system prevents people from having children, which would indeed be an aspect of genocide: it is clear that if a people are prevented from having children, they are being driven toward extinction.
However, first of all, more children have been born in Gaza during these two years than the number of people who have died (a few months ago, Hamas reported 50,000 deaths). Moreover, by this standard, every war—and every economic crisis—could be considered an act of genocide.
