“The cancer of the Middle East” was the definition that Ali Khamenei gave to Israel: the consequence is that it must be destroyed, and since this is not possible, the region moves from one tragedy to another.

For this reason, all Arab governments of every political tendency have refrained from intervening in the Palestinian tragedy, except for the Iranians, driven by religious fanaticism.

In the Middle East, they should instead put an end to the endless ethnic and religious wars (that involving Israel is only one among many) and imitate the industriousness of East Asia, which has instead achieved extraordinary progress.
