Mysticism of the Child

It is often believed that the child, in their simplicity, understands everything, whereas the adult, blinded by prejudices and stereotypes, is unable to understand. For example, it is said that the child would understand that all children are human beings, that they are equal beyond racial and cultural differences.

In reality, the child has not at all understood that cultural differences exist, nor has they even considered whether these might be connected to genetic inheritance (racism).

The child has not yet acquired the mental categories needed to frame aspects of reality.
