Feeling and Religion

One cannot establish a kind of identification between feeling and religion: in this way, faith becomes a good feeling to be respected, but without foundation—in short, something for little old ladies, much like believing in Santa Claus, which is to be carefully respected in children even though it is only fantasy.

Religion cannot be only a feeling; it must be a choice based on reason.
