Dictatorships

Dictatorial regimes, and in general non-democratic ones, cannot always be judged entirely negatively.
Democracy is not always possible; sometimes different kinds of regimes are required. We have seen how difficult it is to export democracy.

It is true that the most prosperous countries today are democracies; however, I always ask myself whether these states are prosperous because they are democratic, or democratic because they are prosperous. I cannot find a certain answer.
