What does it mean to be equal? Should intelligent people have the same responsibilities as fools? Can the weak and the sick be part of assault units?

Equality should mean that everyone can compete, and whoever is more capable (or appears to be) obtains the position. Gender quotas and similar measures seem unconstitutional to me. In practice, people move ahead for reasons of gender—the exact opposite of equality between the sexes.
