Exporting Democracy
It is not true that democracy cannot be exported by force: in Italy, Germany, and Japan in 1945 it was possible, with great success.
It was not possible to export it to the Middle East because those peoples do NOT have a culture (a mindset) favorable to democracy, for many reasons.
In Iraq, for example, parties are not formed along political lines but on an ethnic basis: the Shiites are the majority and have taken power, marginalizing the Sunnis, while the Kurds have, in practice, made themselves independent.
