Laws on Rape
The laws treat sexual activity as if it were
as simple as drinking a glass of water, as the people of ’68 used to say: they
do not take into account the complex and scarcely controllable mechanisms that
come into play with the strongest instinct that exists in nature—reproduction.
At a certain point, neither the man nor the woman is able to control themselves
anymore.
It is difficult for a man to refuse the seduction of a woman, and even a woman,
touched in the right places, is no longer able to refuse: what does consent mean?
I believe that in the end it will be up to the judge to assess the matter
according to his personal discretion, as in fact already happens today: not
objective evidence but simple personal convictions. One will need to be lucky in
finding the right one.
