The Housewife

Is taking care of children, and therefore of the home, an inferior task? Were our grandmothers not the queens of the house, the ones who truly directed family life, leaving our grandfathers only the task of providing for the family’s support?

I do not give answers, but to take it as obvious and self-evident that being a housewife is something humiliating and unjust seems to me a superficial oversimplification.
