Evil and Faith
The problem
of evil in the religious sphere is that we too often see evil triumph,
misfortunes falling upon the innocent (especially children), and so we ask
ourselves: if God is providence, why does He allow all this?
Of course, various answers can be given, but in the end the simplest and most
convincing one seems to be that God does not exist. More precisely, it is not
the existence of a higher being that is denied, but rather the idea that this
being (as in the Christian view) concerns itself with this world.
