The Events in Gaza
The events in Gaza should not be seen as an
act of revenge but as an attempt to eliminate HAMAS from Gaza, which seeks to
destroy Israel. So far, this attempt has failed because HAMAS shows no mercy
even toward its own people, who are unable to rebel against it. The Palestinian
Abu Mazen (not the Israelis) has therefore called HAMAS “sons of dogs,” which is
the worst insult among Arabs.
The problem is that we Westerners always focus on ourselves and fail to
understand how other peoples think, reason, and believe.
