Even if, for the sake of argument, they succeeded in destroying Israel, what good would come of it for the Arabs? What the Middle East needs is to imitate the Far East, which has modernized and created an economic miracle (Japan, Korea, China, and even Vietnam) that is now challenging Western dominance.
Instead, the Middle East is engulfed in absurd conflicts between religious faiths, ethnicities, and religious fanatics, with states that have practically imploded (Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, etc.).
Perhaps the hope for the Middle East lies in the Arab Emirates, which are traditionalist but also seem to be modernizing.
