Healthcare Costs

The aging population leads to ever-increasing healthcare costs.

However, there is also another factor at play. In the past, doctors would examine sick people, make a diagnosis, and provide a cure. Now, with technological development, doctors essentially do nothing but prescribe technical tests, which are very expensive.

For example, when I go to a cardiologist, they don't even examine me. They just prescribe an MRI, a scintigraphy, maybe a coronary angiography—all things that cost a ton of money.
