The Self-Centrality of Cultures

Every culture has its own self-centrality, its own ethical and cognitive principles, and its own interpretation of reality. This isn't so much about ethical relativism (as in the Sophists), where everything is true and everything is false, but rather the awareness that cultures are different and that within each of them, good and evil can be interpreted differently, but are still clearly distinct.
