Workers Today
We must acknowledge that in capitalist societies, workers, or rather the masses, have reached levels of well-being that were unknown in Marx's time and also in societies with real communism. For example, since China abandoned its Maoist follies and effectively chose capitalism, it has begun a process of development never before seen in history. It is said, "Never has it happened that in such a short time, such a great number of people have experienced such a great improvement," and it's true.
