Accepting Defeat
During World War I, Germany surrendered when it realized it couldn't win. However, in World War II, both Germany and Japan fought for years after it was clear they had lost. As a result, Germany and Japan were razed to the ground, and millions of people died needlessly.
Now, Hamas refuses to accept the obvious fact that it will never be able to destroy Israel. Because of this, Gaza is being razed to the ground, and perhaps 60,000 to 100,000 people are dying.
Should the blame be placed on the Americans and Israelis, or on the Nazis and Hamas?
