Property
Property is
not a natural right (and what would that even mean?). I own the house I
inherited from my parents according to the rules of our society (sometimes there
was primogeniture, men inherited more than women, there are various levels of
inheritance tax).
My money is just pieces of paper (now mere numbers on a computer), but they have
value according to social rules; they are earned and, above all, guaranteed
according to those rules — and a significant portion (an average of 40%) is
taken by the State.
