Burden of Proof

The burden — not necessarily of proof, but of argumentation — lies with those who claim something that goes against commonly held beliefs.
Galileo had to argue for heliocentrism in a world that, for millennia, had universally believed in geocentrism — not the other way around.
Similarly, the demonstration of the relativity of time and space was up to Einstein; now, anyone who wishes to deny it must provide the proof.
