What is HAMAS
HAMAS cannot be compared to a gang of drug
criminals.
HAMAS also won the elections in Gaza, has always had the full support of the
population, and has a functioning state administration.
Above all, while to us they are terrorists, to much of their (Arab) world they
are heroes — shahid (witnesses of the
faith) to whom Allah will immediately grant paradise.
Arab governments are all against HAMAS, yet none of them show it, because they
fear popular reactions.
