The Population of Israel

The population in Israel is made up of immigrants from many diverse nations, each bringing its own mentality. You'll find individuals who, when it comes to sex, are more fanatical than a Bin Laden, and young women in bikinis on the beaches. In short, Israelis do not have a single cultural unity; rather, they have, over time, embraced the cultures of various peoples.

Indeed, the idea of a Jewish homeland in Palestine was conceived to prevent them from being reabsorbed by other peoples at a time when religious faith was no longer the primary identifier.

What truly unites them is the fear that, one day or another, they could be overwhelmed by the approximately 500 million Arabs.
