Sexual Morality

It is not at all true, as is often said, that sexuality is a private matter left to individuals: in every society, even ours, there is a sexual morality that, even if not enshrined in law, still exerts a very strong pressure.
For example, until 50 years ago, brides were expected to be virgins; today, a virgin bride is almost seen as someone with problems regarding sex.
Sure, a girl may behave differently, but then she will find it difficult to find a husband: in the past, if she was NOT a virgin; now, if she refuses premarital sex.
