Diversity of Opinions
One cannot explain the diversity of opinions simply by assuming that others are wicked, ignorant, or corrupt. To judge their validity, one must first understand their reasons.
The idea that those who vote differently from us are merely a crowd of dishonest or foolish individuals is not only a sign of a lack of democratic awareness but also seems like a rather childish notion.
"Those who do not think like us" are simply people who do not think like us—nothing more, nothing less. It is essential to understand their reasons. Fools and dishonest people exist in every political, ideological, and religious group.
