Reasonable
Generally, by "reasonable" we mean what appears true to most people, but this
depends on culture.
Marital monogamy seems logical to us, but polygamy has been considered
reasonable by most cultures.
In particular, ethical and political premises are assumptions—cultural and
personal choices that cannot be proven—and they vary across time and space.
Consider slavery, which many civilized peoples have practiced throughout history.
